Fashion trends change quickly, and we understand if you've had a change of heart. You may cancel your ModaBay order for a full refund if it hasn't entered our processing stage (typically within 3 hours of purchase). To request cancellation, please email us immediately at service@mail.modabay.shop. After the 3-hour window, cancellations cannot be processed as your items will already be in preparation for shipment. However, our generous return policy allows you to return eligible items after receiving them.
At ModaBay, we want you to feel confident in your fashion choices. If any of our trendy dresses or women's apparel don't meet your expectations, you may return or exchange them within 35 days of delivery - giving you ample time to try on and style your pieces. This extended return period reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction in the fast-paced world of fashion. Exchanges are available for the same item in different sizes/colors or for other styles of equal value from our current collection.
To qualify for a return or exchange, all ModaBay items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, with all original tags attached (including our distinctive ModaBay hangtag which verifies authenticity). Any items showing signs of wear, alteration (such as hemming), or damage cannot be accepted. Please use the original packaging or a sturdy alternative when returning items to prevent damage during transit. We recommend keeping your shipping receipt until your return is processed as proof of return.
For exchanges, the returned item must meet all the above conditions. Size or color exchanges will be shipped within 7 business days of receiving your return. When exchanging for a different style, please select from our currently available collection (stock varies with our fast-fashion rotation). If the new item costs more, you'll need to pay the difference; if it costs less, we'll refund the balance. Note that limited-edition items may not be available for exchange if sold out, in which case we'll process a refund instead.
A $14 return shipping fee applies to all non-defective returns, covering our processing and restocking costs. This fee is waived if the return results from our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, the $14 fee is charged only once per return package, regardless of how many items you're exchanging. International returns may incur additional customs fees which are the customer's responsibility.
Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 12-18 business days after we receive and inspect your return. This extended timeframe allows our quality team to thoroughly check each returned item before approving it for resale. You'll receive email confirmation once your refund is issued. Please note that shipping fees (original and return) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Sale items will be refunded at their purchased sale price.
To maintain fairness for all customers, we limit exchanges to one per item. Final sale items (marked as such on product pages) cannot be returned or exchanged. For hygiene reasons, swimwear and intimate apparel must have the original hygiene liner intact to be eligible for return. During peak seasons (like holidays or major sales), processing times may extend slightly beyond our standard timeframe - we appreciate your patience during these busy periods.
If you haven't received your refund after 18 business days: (1) First check with your bank or credit card company as some institutions take additional time to process refunds. (2) Verify that you returned the items to our correct facility (return address will be provided in your return confirmation email). (3) If you've completed these steps and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at service@mail.modabay.shop with your order number and return tracking information.
